About The Conference:

This is the maiden International Conference of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences NnamdiAzikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. The goal of the conference is to bring together the Government, academics, professional bodies and their practitioners, environmental managers, industrialists, entrepreneurs, multi-lateral development banks (MDBs), development finance institutions/ venture capital funding professionals etc to share ideas and knowledge on the current and emerging trends in infrastructure development, environmental and socio-economic imperatives that would drive sustainable growth and development of Nigeria.

The thematic areas include Sustainability, infrastructure, environmental standards, green development, green procurement, green policy, green programme and management, green audit, cost engineering and management, project management, resilient city socio-economic activities, GDP, and human development index (HDI) etc.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION AND PRESENTATION OF CONFERENCE PAPERS

1. The official writing language is English
2. All articles should be in A4 format with 2.0cm each on the left , right, top and bottom margins; 12 point Time New Roman font size with 1.5 line spacing and justified
3. The title should be 14point, all in capital letters, bold and centred
4. A double line space should be left after the title, followed by the names of authors, affiliates, emails and phone number(s) of the lead author
5. The abstract should be between 150-200 words, with keywords of a maximum of 5 with evident track of relevance
6. A double line space should be allowed between the components of the paper (i.e. introduction, literature review, methods and procedures, results and discussion, conclusion, recommendation, references and appendix) of not more than 4000 words. Paper with diagrams should display only the diagrams in a supporting document alongside the paper submission
7. All submissions must be by email attachments preferably MS-words documents before the full paper submission deadline to the email: nau.fesic2024@gmail.com
8. Presentation of the paper is a pre-condition for publication
9. All papers submitted to the conference are expected to be less than 15% similarity check
10. Work in progress is to be considered but final work must be submitted on or before the 30^th of March, 2024
11. At the end of the conference, all papers presented will appear in the conference proceedings while papers considered good and publishable by peer reviewers may be published in faculty Environmental Review / Tropical Built Journals
